Hey guys!

So the Punished by Rewards reading didn’t really work out…it was a tough read. I wrote a blog post today about me re-reading Democratic Education and thought that maybe our reading club could be a big more organic – perhaps when we read books that inspire us we can then share our thoughts via blog and also post here?

One idea I am just having is to suggest readings that we feel are a part of our “juice” in this movement.

I would also like to explore and share readings that touch on subjects that come up in our school, like choosing to use minecraft and pokemon and the awesome these tools can create. Or read @abby‘s dr.who marathon…[Read more]

I really like the idea of doing readings, perhaps we could start with short PDFs or even blog posts and work our way up to whole books?

This could work as a different pattern to get the kids to create new tools and patterns for us to use in the school, it feels like a way to invite more participation from those who have a hard time with the meeting format!
