My first week at the ALC New York was fun. I spent 5 hours at a skatepark and visited the Museum of Mathematics. Those trips took up the most if the day, but they were worth it. At the skatepark, I learned tons of new stuff from the experts. And at the Museum of Mathematics, the galleries and hands-on exhibits were amazing.
While I was indoors, I connected with the kids by playing hide & seek. I also helped 3 kids with their crossbows, but mainly focused on the biggest one created by Logan. I worked on it everyday and the distance and accuracy multiplied by 3. Another fun thing I did this week was create fake evidence of a murder with 5 other people. Unfortunately, I did not get to read my book and did not do as much high school research that needed to be finished. However, the ups of the week outweighed the downs. I hope the rest of my year here is as fun.
